Maybe you have noticed that last weeks there are a lot more spam-like posts in the forums than before.
Spam-like posts include, but are not limited to:

* simply quoting someone else, without even adding a single letter.
* x 2 posts, where you simply quote someone else, and add a x 2, agree, ... without any more explanation about your view on the subject.
* senseless posts, which most of the time smell to spam as well. This are posts like 'lol', 'hahahah', smilies, ... or any other reply that just adds nothing to the thread.
* pure spam posts like 'in before trash' or '2 more v-bucks'.
* forumspam-pictures.
* posts where you say 'please use the search button', without that you give any link to an exisiting thread. Posts where you say 'this thread violates forum rule xx'. Posts where you say 'this has to be posted in forum xx' etcetera. We have moderators for these things. If you think that a certain posts / thread violates one of the forum rules, then use the report function. And, when you have reported a thread, there is no need to make an extra post with 'thread reported'.
* When a question has been asked, or a problem has been solved, then do not reply with the same answer. Especially when a topic is marked as [DONE], there is no need to continue talking about the problem.
* ...

As you may have noticed as well, last days we have acted more strictly toward such posts. Some people got already their share part of forum ROE for such kind of posts, and if we see more of these posts, we won't hesitate to hand out more forum ROE.

The forums are still a place to discuss about things, to get help for a problem, ... . They are not the place to just make posts to post. If you have nothing to say, then just don't reply.

So in the future, think twice before you hit that reply button.
